YOUTH and ROLE MODELS
Argentina is one of the most progressive countries for LGBTQ+ rights. How was your youth growing up in Argentina and did you have a queer role model?
I moved to Spain from Argentina with my parents on my 11th B-Day, so I started to discover my sexuality soon after I relocated to Spain. I came out of the closet proudly to the world and my family at 14. It wasn’t easy, I had been bullied at school and isolated already for a while, so I had to come out to show them I was the coach and that it was my game.
I think Almodovar’s films and my early passion for fashion were my inspiration.
What ideologies of yoga do you identify with as a gay man?
Yoga is an inclusive practice. Yoga doesn’t care about your gender, race, age or sexual orientation. It is a tool for self-discovery, healing, empowerment and growth; crucial aspects in any gay man. And I can wear the craziest leggings!
What would your inner Peter Pan tell a young adult suffocating in the conventional 9-5 work-life model?
Don’t suffocate darling, there’s a life outside of your comfort zone, full of abundance, adventures, and magic. You can be whatever you want if you want it enough. Be fearless, believe in yourself and go after your dreams and purpose. The need for security and your fears may be stopping you from shining bright, but ask yourself; who’s the designer of my life?
Do you have a morning routine, if so, what’s one thing you would recommend we implement into our routine?
My breakfast is the most important thing for me upon awakening. Eating healthy, fresh and nutritious food is an act of SELF love-care-respect. I love cooking and preparing my brekkie every morning. Hot lemon water, eggs, fruits, nuts, seeds, green tea, and gratitude are always on the menu. If you have extra time in the morning, implementing exercise, yoga or a face-lift is always a fab idea.
Name a Pedro Almodóvar movie character for each of the following roles in your life?

How has your approach to health and fitness transformed at the intersection of being a CrossFit coach and yoga instructor?
Both disciplines are very opposite, that’s why they complement each other so well. They also share the big aspects of community and progress. I have taken the principles of both and now I’m able to teach a relaxing badass class where I bring flexibility, strength and fun to the plates of my students.
Talk to us about your ancient greek inspired tattoos. Do they have a spiritual meaning or are they more corporeal?
I’m also a fashion designer and a big art lover, so my body is my canvas where I can express myself.
