Running back Xazavian Valladay has been signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, less than 25 hours after his signing was announced. Valladay led the Pac-12 in rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns last season, finishing second in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage for Arizona State. Despite not being drafted, he earned $175,000 in guarantees from the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent. However, after summer workouts and a preseason debut where he managed only 8 yards on four carries, the Texans waived him. The Steelers signed him shortly afterwards.
