Tanner Houck, a right-handed pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, is expected to return from the injured list on Monday to start against the Houston Astros. Houck finished his rehab assignment with four scoreless innings in Worcester Red Sox’s 8-1 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. He gave up one hit and struck out four batters during his outing. The return of Houck will allow Boston to get back to a traditional five-man rotation. The player hasn’t pitched in the majors since June 16 when he was hit in the face with a line drive that caused a facial fracture.
