Gonzaga basketball player Kaden Perry has announced he is stepping away from college basketball due to ongoing back injuries. Perry, who underwent surgery for herniated discs before joining Gonzaga in 2021-22, stated that issues stemming from the same injury have forced him to leave the team. Despite this, Perry intends to remain at Gonzaga as a student and continue pursuing his undergraduate degree. He appeared in eight games during the 2021-22 season but missed the entirety of the 2022-23 season due to another setback with his back injury.
